The Botirry bench
From hide to wrist
Every Botirry strap is cut, skived, stitched and finished by one pair of hands. No factory line - just patience, a sharp blade and waxed thread. About a full day of quiet work goes into a single strap.

Cutting
The pattern is traced onto the hide and cut by hand with a fresh blade, one clean pull per line.

Skiving
Each piece is thinned on the skiver so the strap lies flat and comfortable on the wrist, never bulky.

Beveling
The edges are bevelled and shaped by hand for a soft, rounded feel and a clean finished line.

Pricking
Stitch holes are marked with an iron and mallet so every stitch lands perfectly even.

Saddle stitching
Two needles and waxed thread, locked by hand - a saddle stitch that holds even if it is ever nicked.

Finishing
Edges are burnished, the buckle is set and the strap is checked by eye before it is boxed for you.
Our Story
Three names, one workshop
Botirry is named after three children - Boom, Tiger and Cherry. We are a small family studio in Da Nang, hand-stitching leather watch straps the slow way, one at a time. When your children’s names are on the door, you do not cut corners.
